Student Numbers in Akindi

Rutgers University has two student information systems, Banner for Legacy UMDNJ and REGIS for Legacy Rutgers. Students who have attended RBHS and one of the other three campuses will have two student numbers, the Banner A number and the RU ID. The complexity of Rutgers does not often translate to other models. Akindi is designed to identify a student by a unique “student number.” Programmatically, Akindi will use the Banner A number. If a student does not have a Banner A Number, then Akindi will use the RU ID.

It is recommended that instructors pre-print answer sheets to ensure the student number in Canvas and Akindi matches what is on the answer sheet.
