It didn’t work on my car window
I've used this product before on a previous vehicle and got about the same ok-ish results. It will n ot make a crack disappear but it will reduce its obnoxiousness by about 25% or so. I got it to stop a crack from growing. Time will tell. The auto glass repair shop wanted over $150 for the repair. This was only $12 so performed as expected.
It is Rainx. Not much to review. It has been working for years and years, and it's still working.
- Hold My BeerProduct needs to be pressured into crack. Some cracks are blocked by film between windshield panes. You won't know if crack can be penetrated until you try it. Some cracks cannot be penetrated. Only surface can be repaired.
It works on small cracks that only reach one side of the windshield. Follow the instructions with th e package, I was able to do the job by myself. It took longer than one hour to dry.
Product was easy to use. Depending on the depth of the chip, may take more than one application. Ove rall , the kit worked well.

This product worked reasonably well. Even though it took me a few more attempts than what was descri bed in the user manual but eventually the resin filled and hid the windshield crack.
Worked as promised
After searching on YouTube for a quick windshield repair tool I came across this. After following th e instructions the windshield chip I had is basically invisible. I wish I took before and after pictures. It's been a few months and the resin is still holding strong.
It works for very small cracks but fails for even small ones.

This stuff is the truth! I had to replace my windshield 2 weeks ago from a crack. A rock hit my wind shield today, and I got another crack! I was devastated because I just bought my Mercedes in December and I've had my windshield cracked by a rock twice at this point. I did not want to pay my deductible yet again, so I bought this stuff. The crack was more of a bulls eyes this time and it was noticeable. After using this product, you wouldn't know where the damage occurred unless I showed you! If you get a crack or a bulls eyes, this is good stuff!
Has a small rock chip in my windshield. The only problem I had was tightening the stem too much. And doing so I distorted the rubber seal. It was simple to fix. And it didn't damage it's a seal. It feels the chip hole perfectly. I applied over the crack in the windshield And it came out great. You would never know it was damaged. Thank you rain.x for a great product.

I have 2 very small nicks in my windshield from a rock that was launched from a weed eater. I follow ed the directions exactly as printed. I give this product a meh because I am not sure if it did anything significant. I can still see the nicks just as good as I could before using this. But when I run my finger over them they feel smooth now instead of rough.
it did not completely fill either of the cracks in my windshield. they are obviously still there.
Have used this product before. Works very well that's why I purchased it again for another windshiel d ding. Would definitely recommend.
I have a 7inch long crack on my windshield and the repair kit helped fill and hide the crack but mak ing it not completely invisible. Would recommend it for temporary repair.

Great instructions but even following them exactly this didn't do anything to minimize the small chi p and 1/4 inch crack.
Reduces some damage, but is not a complete fix
I've tried the windshield repair kit you buy at AutoZone last time, and the time before that Safelit e auto glass. This is the only product I have used that made it to where it is barely even noticeable. Even safe flight auto glass, you could still see it like nothing had even been done and both of the previous times you could run your finger across it and feel the whole still there. And there was no guarantees in case it didn't work when it was done "professionally". This product was far better. Maybe it's how they do the suction cup to press it in, I'm not sure. But if you follow the instructions, and you do it correctly, you're going to barely even be able to notice where the damage was. and when you run your fingernail across the top of it on the outside you will feel only smoothness. I love this. Unfortunately, the picture shows it far clear than it looks when looking directly at it.
Chip still visible but sealed saving me a window replacement and much cheaper than having someone el se do it for the same results.
I had my windshield "repaired" at a national chain early in the morning and the spider cracks looked no different than when the rock first hit my windshield. Purchased this stuff later that same day to see if it helped. Now the cracks are almost invisible. Extremely easy to use as well just follow the instructions.
Easy to use and does the job
I bought this product to fix a ding in my windshield. I was skeptical that it would work because it only cost $12. Boy, was I surprised. It worked great! Now I am not a mechanically gifted person, so after reading the instructions, I thought it would be hard to get a good result. I found that the repair kit was very easy to use and it was easy to clean up. The key to making this work is to use the curing strips and then let the repair resin dry in the direct sunlight. I let my car sit in the sun for about 30 minutes. I took the razor blade and scraped off the excess residue per the instructions. I was really happy with the results. For $12 this product is well worth the money and you'll like results. I would definitely buy this product again!
I was super hesitant as I'd just bought this car and only want the best for it. But because I just b ought it, I'm a little strapped on paying 200 to a company to come do the same thing as this stuff. I got a bullseye on my windshield somehow yesterday, so I decided to try this stuff first. It is working. I've done two applications on the same bullseye and it is definitely working. Might have to do it a few times for desired results but I will be recommending this to everyone. Thank you!!

this was a clever kit and clearly explained instructions that are brief to the point. easy to use.
Had a chip from a rock in our new car. The chip was about 1/2 the size of a dime. The repair process was straight forward. You just need to keep adding resin until you can't see any dark spots or air bubbles in the repair area. The damaged area is barely noticeable now.
Follow the directions and it will work perfectly!! I like this product above others. Does a great jo b filling cracks, chips and bullseye. Fills it and stops it from spreading.
This kit works very well given the price. I will definitely use it sgain if i get another chip in my windshield. I did not try the resin in a long crack, so I cannot comment on how well their claims are on that.
This product filled the chip in my windshield, and made it way less visible I would use this product again to protect chips in the windshield from turning into cracks
